Regardless of the poll, consumers prefer to know whether or not their food includes GMOs. In February of 2011 a NYT poll reported 89% of participants prefer GMO food be labeled. In March of 2011 a CNBC poll showed 95.9% of participants preferred to know. Additional polls from Consumer Reports in 2008 showed 95%, Reuters/NPR in 2010 showed 93%.
